The Grivel G10 crampon is a lightweight, universal crampon designed to meet classical demands. The Grivel G10 crampon is compact (with only ten points), user friendly (short, non-aggressive points), simple to size (rapid, tool-free adjustment system), and will fit any size and type of shoe. The entire Grivel G10 crampon is manufactured from Chromoly steel using new technology which is exclusive to Grivel at this time. Called "3 Dimensional Relief Stamping (3DRS)", this process increases the strength and rigidity, not only of the crampon's frame, but of each individual point as well. Four "anti-shear" points, perpendicular to the line of the boot, improve security during descents. The Grivel G10 crampons are fully adjustable by hand, without tools and one size fits all. The Grivel G10 crampon is easily collapsed for transportation. By placing a bolt (included) through the front of the arch piece, it will remain centered, reducing the overall length of the collapsed crampon. In addition, the entire adjustment mechanism may be replaced with a simple nut and bolt; while this reduces weight, future length adjustments will require tools. The Grivel G10 crampon is perfect for ski touring, trekking, or for women and children (whose short, boot sole lengths don't require many points underneath them). For Telemark boots, try the G10 wide version, which is wider between the front posts to fit a 75mm bill or snowboard boot.

Cramp-O-Matic:	A well known system which relies on a nylon speed lever in the rear and a stainless steel front bale to hold the boot. These bindings are perfect for plastic mountaineering boots that have a rigid sole and substantial heel and toe welts.
New Matic:	An evolution of the Cramp-O-Matic system which utilizes the C-O-M rear bale and lever. The plastic harness system is hinged from two front posts which retain the boot securely even if it has a shallow, worn front welt or overboots are being used. It is a simple and efficient binding, which is far more versatile than the original Cramp-O-Matic style.
New Classic:	An evolution of the Classic binding. Both front and rear plastic harnesses are hinged from their respective retention posts and may be "opened" to facilitate attachment to the boot, then closed securely once the boot is inside.
